Creepy...

Such a cool song, though I hadn't realised how depressing it was until I read the lyrics just now. I absolutely love the first three lines, dunno why.

I really wanna know what he meant by
"Light my candles in a daze ...
'Cause I've found god"
Does anyone else doubt that Cobain found God? Maybe, with it's an 'opiate of the masses' style comment, about the daze of religion, who knows.

Have a listen to the song, it's sung and played really well, (in a grunge sorta way) anyone who thinks 'played well' means getting each note perfect, you'll no doubt hate it as it is too raw and soulful instead of computery.

But I digress. This post was going to be much longer, but then my lousy computer decided to freeze and I can't remember half of what I was gonna say

Celebrity Obsession

Lithium is one of my favourite ever Nirvana songs. I love the rhythm of the song. It's only when you really listen to the lyrics that you realise how depressing it is. I guess most Nirvana songs are pretty heavy on the depression though aren't they. After all, Heart Shaped Box was supposedly a love song for Courtney wasn't it? And that song has some seriously creepy lines in it. Yeah!!!!! Love it.
