Jesus Loves Osama

What a random statement, you are all no doubt saying.
Anyway, there was a reason I said it. An Australian Baptist Church recently made it into the news (If you can call A Current Affair and that shit news) for having this message on their billboard.
Now, most churches I see have signs that say 'Worship God or burn forever" ya know, fairly standard Old testament ramblings. I want to congratulate This Church for this thought provoking message.
Now, while you're reading this, join me in assuming the existance of Jesus - It's not important whether he exists or not for this discussion.
Anyway, my impression of Christianity was the God and his buddy Jesus loved mankind, and were willing to forgive their sins. I'm not saying I do that all the time, cos hey, I'm a grumpy bastard, but surely Christians should try to imitate their Lord. basically saying, even if you think Osama is one sick son of a bitch, you have to forgive him and love him.
Thoughts anyone? particularly like to hear from Christians, and, if you're reading this Osama, leave a comment
