Iraq's Prime Minister Has a Spine!!!

Watching SBS World news today, it suddenly occured to me, maybe when America installed the current government, they blundered as badly (for the White House) as when they aided Sadam's rise to power.
The Prime Minister, Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, stood up to America on two issues; The conflict between Israel and Jordan/Hezbollah and a peaceful solution to the counter-revolution in Iraq.
Al-Jaafari criticised the Israeli Defence Force for invading Lebanon, for the civilian casualties and for over reacting. This seems to me to be fair enough, yet many US senators are demanding, of a foreign head of state, an apology. Makes me want to demand that Bush apologises for being a prat.
That is not to say that Hezbollah is completely innocent obviously, I oppose anyone who kills to acheive/prevent political change.
Second of all, Al-Jaafari proposed the offering of an amnesty to anyone who fought against America when they invaded, and in the following years. Thankfully, someone in the world has a brain. No-one is going to surrender if they will get life in jail, or the death sentence as a result.
