I'm Back

That's right, I'm back from schoolies, full of booze and a renewed passion for Led Zeppellin, and yet also filled with a bitter dissapointment, for one of the guys there took up his LP's and a record player, and I thought that I would finally get a chance to listen to Mike Oldfield's album 'Tubular Bells'. For years I have heard how ridiculously good this album is, and yet I have never seen it on cd, and I haven't seen a working record player in quite some time.
Well, it was not to be, the guy's record player refused to go louder then a whisper, lousy old technology.
So what's been happening whilst ive been gone. Georgie Bush lost majority control of the senate, that's always good, a study shows fish will basically become extinct in 50 years if fishing, pollution and global warming trends continue, that's a bit less good.
What other music did I hear lots on schoolies?? (that's a question to myself by the way) I seem to remember alot of very loud Cat Empire *shudders* a very awesome Eric Clapton concert, and some Parlimentary Funkadelic which is always good

This is true, but it's not as if we heard much of either of those two on schoolies
Speaking of which, I have a half bootload full of stuff to give back to you. By bootload, I don't mean shoe by the way
