HSC no 2

Please excuse my grammar, I used all my good typieness on my exam today.
Anyhoo, not much to report. I got a copy of 'The Cure' Greatest Hits dvd, basically all their filmclips, man, Robert Smith is really creepy. But cool nevertheless. Even if you can't get your hands on the dvd, find some way to see the filmclip to Spiderman, it's well worth it.
Um, what else?? Ipods are finally being recognised for the mediocre pieces of technology they are. they were recently voted in the top 10 shonky products by the consumer group Choice, as seen in the Herald Sun. I can't stand how well Ipod is doing, simply by turning out shiny, well advertised but subpar mp3 players.
Anyway, what the paper had to say about Ipods is as follows
"The Apple iPod received a Shonky Award for its repair and warranty service, after several Choice magazine readers complained about cracked screens, faulty batteries and problems with sound reproduction.
Choice said Apple did not allow retailers to handle complaints under warranty, despite this being an obligation under the fair trading laws.
The Herald Sun this month reported that the iPod was the most complained about consumer item in Victoria, with more than 40 complaints made to Consumer Affairs Victoria in the past year.
"It certainly wasn't a surprise to us because we had done a lot of research into (portable music players) and we had received a number of complaints about the iPod and the Apple warranty and repair service," Ms Naidoo said."
Peace
