Battle of the Cashed up Cults II

Before I get on to Hillsong, there's one thing I forgot about Scientology. It's called the "Silent Birth" as the name implies, it involves being silent whilst being born, and whilst giving birth. No screaming, crying, swearing at whoever knocked you up. You must be a good little girl and do everything a male says...
Now, on to Hillsong Church
To start things off, it is rumoured that Gloria Jeans Coffee Shops are owned by Hillsong, which, if true is fairly disturbing. Religions shouldn't have any political or economic power, as this ineviably corrupts.
I'm not sure how much you all read the bible, but no doubt you know the phrase 'The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want" The Hillsongians take this to mean that God has ordered them to become incredibly rich, on the belief that the rich want nothing. This really doesn't make sense, those who have money are generally more concerned with aquiring more wealth then others.
They have had John Howard and Peter Costello speak at conferences, and they tried to get Mark LAtham to say a few words, thankfully he had sense enough to decline.
Anyhoo, My internet is screwing up, so I'm gonna wrap this up before it breaks completely

Have you been to Hillsong Church?
Well in case the answer is no... you should keep your ideas and opinions safe inside your head unless you have some sort of reasonable evidence to back it up.
You could say that I am a "Hillsongian", which you have labelled me by and if you have been to Hillsong too, you would have known that there is no such belief that being "rich" is an answer to ANY verses (btw its shepherd not shepard) given in the bible. It is quite simply the opposite. To give in faith is what church members do, to provide resource in helping others (let it be funding for programs etc).
To tell you the truth my friend, i would give to any organization whether it be a church or group to benefit the community, or this world in fact, regardless of how successful that organization is and i am sure you would do the same.
