V festival

One of my friends is at the V festival this weekend.

Whilst most of the bands I've not heard of, the Pixies!! and New York Dolls, make it a pretty awesome show.

Why am I not there??

Canberra Day

It's a holiday enjoyed by only 300 000 people worldwide, and, well, all of them are in Canberra.

But when you think about it - why does the ACT enjoy so many more public holidays than anyone other state/territory? Could it be because the upper levels of the public service are mostly located here

Wow, I'm terrified actually, it is a really good movie. I would encourage you all to get yourselves a copy of it.

Man, It's made me even more sick of my country. I knew that Australia hadn't signed the Kyoto agreement, but I didn't know that it was just us and Ameria of the developed countries that hadn't signed it

Wow, that was one hell of a storm, it's basically closed down Canberra at the moment - I have a 5 day weekend cos the Uni's not running, the shopping centres are closed for the most part.

And the only thing I can think of saying right now, is a big fuck you to everyone who caused this - those who don't believe in global warming and those who know it's happening but don't care

The Silence Breaks

Well, I said I'd start talking again once I got to Canberra, but that apparently never happened. Anyhoo, All I can think of saying is that College life is highly reccomended, very much fun.

As far as anything actually music related goes. I've been listening to a lot of new music, most of which is found in dance nightclubs, which wasn't really my thing, but I'm getting into some of it
