Second part of my Emo post, mostly because I started rambling last time and couldn't shut myself up. Well, this post is going to be less positive, because While Emo culture has some great points to match the bad ones, the same can't really be said for the music. (by the way, I'm talking about modern Emo, as I know almost nothing about the 80's Emo and 90's Indie-Emo.)

Where to start??

'End of Fashion' are a glorified boy band; anyone who has heard their song 'Oh Yeah' will no doubt agree?

'Good Charlotte' - sing 'Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous' I could probably count on one hand the amount of people raking in more dough then them.

"Jimmy Eat World' I still listen to these guys occasionally; their lyrics are bearable and their songs are nice, simple Pop Rock - not a terrible band, but theres nothgn remarkable about them.

'Brand New' - I'm not even touching that train wreck, even the Emo's I know hate them

I hate to call 'Dashboard Confessional' Emo, because Emo is, in essence, a Counter Culture. These guys conform like crazy

Ahh well, I've probably pissed lots of people off here, ifnact, I'm guessing there'll be lots of people as offended that I put these bands under Emo as I would be if someone called them Punks.

Now, if anyone can send me the name of a good Emo song (it must be original, interesting and require talent), I'd be glad to hear it, because I would absolutely love to believe that every genre must have at least 1 good band or artist

um i hate cunts that listen to simple plan and think there emo or they cut there wrists and say there hell depressed get over it theres fucken people that dont eat for months in some countrys like get over it u got it fucken great compaired to them so shut ur fucken months and u call ur self emo dosent matter just means u r emotional good and bad yeah im emo but i dont cut me wrists or say im heeps emo and my lifes so shit my parents r broken up lost my gf after bout a year hardly talk to any of my mates sleep all day stay up all night mate if im not depressed i dont no wat is eevry girl i have every liked is just fucked now they all have new bfs that many people want to bash me ( yea cause i said ild push his gf under a train but thats beside the point hshe had a go at one of my x gfs and one of my closest friends and her bf is a toss also im thinking i might brake them up she still has feelings for me and as do i dont evern no y im telling this but u dont no me so it dont matter emo music makes u more depressed if ur in a bad way dont lissen to it i lissen to emo music 24/7 i go to bed with my cd player going the only time im not lissening to music is when im playing counter strike (gun game on the com) emo's r atenshion seekers trust me i no that many of them and then i no the ones that r really truely emo and they dont tell any one there problem they just cut them self were no one can see and cry every night ( is it just me or is it fucken hot) i swear every time i talk bout feelings i heat up ay like my chest is burning and its 238am its not like its hot

all emo songs r just punk love songs that went bad theres no happy ending to it but thats life that is love it never works out its fucked up dont love and u wont get hurt

I just want to say that before you judge 'Emos' for cutting their wrists and being depressed, think about what might be going on in their life that you don't know about. They may be fighting silent battles and this is the only way out they kind find, expressing themselves in what feels right to them. I admit, cutting yourself probably isn't the most practicle way about feeling better but sometimes feelings and events can be overwhelming. Just thought you should think about that before hanging shit on them for being depressed. Oh, and perhaps you should considor contacting a therapist/psychologist Anonymous. Just a helpful hint.

I'm sure some of them do have genuine problems, and those I would be really nice to, if I knew which ones they were. But because of all of those Emo's that cut their wrists because it's fashionable, it's impossible to tell which ones actually do need help.

The members of Simple Plan have nothing in life to complain about. They have everything they want; money, lots of young female fans to take advantage of, and, money.

ummm simple plan r all queer ]haven u seen them running round groping each other im sorry but who eva likes them that much to dress like them are all a bunch of fags...!!!!!! the bass player is going out with the lead singer for crying out loud cant someone erase all the emo bands off the face of the EARTH!

To get different fonts, you type whatever you want to say, then select it with the mouse and then click on bold or green font or what have you.

[B]So it looks like this for bold[/...B] (except without the full stops in there)

Are panic at the disco a good band? I don't even know what sorta stuff they sing
