Besides the awesome alliteration in the name, Bob Brown is also an awesome person.
I suppose I should be calling him Senator Bob Brown, for obvious reasons really. He's an Australian senator of the Greens Party, and I just heard him give a talk. And what can I say?? I'm in love
Nah, he's just the one politician of whom I can find no faults. I mean, Peter garret is pretty awesome, but he's been forced into a lot of compromises as a result of joining the Labour party (ie supporting the alliance with America)
Back to Bob Brown, he's got sensible ideas on all the important aspects of politics - social (ie stopping the slide into Australia becoming a police state) environmental (Mostly stopping global warming) and long term economic policy (as opposed to the liberals policy of bringing in as much revenue in a three year term as possible - ie the time gap between elections)
So yeah, Vote Greens, especially in the Senate
