............................. ............................. ............................. ............................. ............lding a stall to raise awareness about the lack of global warming, and protesting about the lack of nuclear power.
Now, I belive that most people evolved from apes, but calling these fucking conservatives an evolution is just plain wrong. I believe monkeys evolved from these idiots.
What did they tell me??
* The Nazi's had an environmental policy, therefore anyone with an environmental policy is a Nazi
(Just because A implies B, it doesn't mean that B implies A - trust me, I learnt this yesterday in my damn maths lecture)
* Al Gore is a facist racist
First of all, I doubt it. Second of all, that's incredibly irrelevant. It is possible to be a racist and yet still be right about environmental issues
* It is the oil companies raising awareness of global warming to increase their profits
Pardon?? the claim is that the oil industries also have stakes is renewable energy. Most do get some income from renewables, usually in the region of 1%
* Nuclear Power is necessary
Solar and Wind are cheaper in the long run per kwhr (ie more bang for your buck) because once it's set up, it runs itself. Wind is almost as cheap as coal to produce, and solar is more expensive at the moment, but with increased funding the price will plummet. Also, Chernobyl and nuclear waste.
* and the biggest lclaim of all. Global Warming is cyclical, related to the orbits of the earth. Yes, there is a natural, cyclical element, which looks like a sine wave ie this ---> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
but then you have to add it to the man made effect, which looks a little something like an exponential. ie (turn your head so to the right
