Wow, that was one hell of a storm, it's basically closed down Canberra at the moment - I have a 5 day weekend cos the Uni's not running, the shopping centres are closed for the most part.

And the only thing I can think of saying right now, is a big fuck you to everyone who caused this - those who don't believe in global warming and those who know it's happening but don't care.

Stagger Lee and 20th Century Boy

There you go - two songs I was looking for most and I got a listen to them both recently.

Stagger Lee is by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and is one of the bands more upbeat songs. Strangely enough, even though the band is famous for their depressing songs, it's the slightly more cheerful songs that are the best. Stagger Lee is deffinately one of these

Corpse Bride

Tim Burton is a genius, and his movie, the Corpse Bride is awesome.

Basic premise is pretty odd. a guy's about to get married, whilst practicing his vows he ends up slipping the ring on the finger of a corpse, and ends up maried to her

The Silence Breaks

Well, I said I'd start talking again once I got to Canberra, but that apparently never happened. Anyhoo, All I can think of saying is that College life is highly reccomended, very much fun.

As far as anything actually music related goes. I've been listening to a lot of new music, most of which is found in dance nightclubs, which wasn't really my thing, but I'm getting into some of it
